Modern Solutions Therapy
Helping you reconnect to your body, identity, and self-worth—at your pace.

You’ve become skilled at adapting, at putting others first, at pushing through—even when it meant neglecting your own needs.
Now, it’s time to turn that same care inward. Not because anything is wrong with you, but because you deserve the space to breathe, to reflect, and to reconnect with yourself—whole, unfiltered, and worthy of care. Whether you’re carrying the weight of complex trauma, navigating the unique rhythms of neurodivergence, the adult child of immigrant parents, or unlearning old coping strategies that no longer serve you—this is your space. You belong here, just as you are.
My Approach
My practice is grounded in warmth, collaboration, and deep respect for the wisdom you already hold.
I integrate:
-
Internal Family Systems (IFS): To explore your inner landscape with curiosity and compassion—no part of you is the problem.
-
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): To help you regulate big emotions, develop self-trust, and build a life that feels meaningful.
-
Polyvagal Theory & Somatic Practices: Because your body keeps the score—and it also holds the map for healing.
-
Health at Every Size (HAES): Rooted in body liberation and anti-oppressive care, I affirm all bodies as worthy of respect and attunement.
Therapy with me is not about performance or perfection. It's a space where we co-create safety, build insight, and practice new ways of relating—to yourself and to the world.
Who I Work With
I support individuals who are:
-
Survivors of emotional neglect, spiritual trauma, or attachment wounds
-
Neurodivergent folks seeking structure, self-compassion, and authentic living
-
Queer and questioning individuals exploring their truth in the face of old conditioning
-
Women healing from people-pleasing, disconnection, or burnout
-
Second-generation Canadians navigating identity, generational expectations, and cultural complexity
You don’t need to have the “right words” to begin. Your desire to feel more grounded, seen, or at peace is more than enough.
What to Expect
Therapy with me begins with connection. We'll take time to understand what you're carrying, how you've adapted, and what you're longing for and capable of.
Our early sessions are about building a steady foundation. I typically recommend meeting weekly to start, with flexibility as your needs evolve.
Sessions are held online, providing you with comfort, consistency, and accessibility—wherever you are.
I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots because healing should never be a luxury.
